The habits we form

Development is a long game.

If you’re trying to change habits, it isn’t about being perfect today.

It’s about who you are five or ten years from now.

The greatest things take time, patience, and perseverance.

A journalist trying to build enough trust to get a story, a writer drafting a great long-form article or book, a professional reaching for a top management position, these can take years to complete.

So, relax. Get started today and keep going tomorrow and the next day and the next.  Consistent work in the direction of your goals achieves success.

Progress, not perfection. Eventually, the results will astonish.
